Finney Packing of Spheres

Description

We provide data on a packing of equal, hard spheres. The original data was experimentally (optically) imaged in 1970, and this is one of the first sphere packings used as a representative porous medium (soil, and with some cementation modeling sandstone). We include original sphere locations, as well as an example discretization (volumetric image). With some effort, sphere locations can be used to produce a volumetric image at any resolution you need.
